Carly has been dancing since she was 2, and according to her mother, “came out making noise” and was singing and talking from the very beginning. She started taking voice lessons when she was 6 which inspired a love and passion in her for vocal performance and pedagogy.

Carly has always considered singing her second language, so she decided to continue her vocal journey at NYU Steinhardt to receive her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance- Musical Theatre and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. Through this program, Carly works as an adjunct professor teaching private voice lessons at NYU, an experience that brings her so much joy! She is a huge advocate for mental health and structures her teaching philosophy around mindfulness and creating a safe space for her students.
